CVE-2026-66153 is an improper link resolution vulnerability in the NEService auto-upgrade process of SonicWall NetExtender Linux Client. The process insecurely handles temporary files and can follow attacker-manipulated symbolic links, enabling a local attacker to redirect file-path operations to unintended targets. NetExtender Linux Client versions 10.3.5 and earlier are affected; Windows-based NetExtender clients are not affected.
