CVE-2026-66492 is a path traversal vulnerability in the Joomla extension Phoca Commander affecting versions 1.0.0 through 6.1.3. The flaw is caused by improper limitation of paths in the file upload action, allowing attacker-controlled path input to escape the intended upload directory. As a result, the extension may process file operations outside the expected filesystem scope, creating a risk of unauthorized file access or file write operations within the Joomla environment.
