CVE-2026-66493 is a path traversal vulnerability in the Joomla extension Phoca Commander affecting versions 1.0.0 through 6.1.3. The flaw is caused by improper limitation of path values used by the extension's delete, copy, and move actions, allowing attacker-controlled path manipulation outside the intended directory scope. By supplying crafted path input to these file-management operations, an attacker may traverse directories and cause unauthorized filesystem operations against files or folders not intended to be accessible through the extension.
