CVE-2026-66729 is an integer underflow vulnerability in facil.io versions 0.6.0 through 0.7.6 affecting the multipart MIME body parser. The flaw is triggered when the parser processes a crafted Content-Disposition header containing an empty field name. Under this condition, a uint32_t value in the parser logic wraps around in http_mime_parser.h, which causes an out-of-bounds read past the field-name pointer. The resulting invalid memory access can raise a bus fault and terminate the worker handling the request. The issue is remotely reachable and does not require authentication.
