CVE-2026-66751 is an improper authorization vulnerability in Let's Chat versions 0.3.0 through 0.4.8. The flaw affects the room deletion or archival handler, which accepts a DELETE request for a room without verifying that the requesting authenticated user owns the room or is otherwise authorized to perform the action. Because room identifiers can be enumerated through the room listing functionality, an authenticated attacker can target arbitrary rooms on the server, including private or password-protected rooms that they cannot legitimately access, and archive them. The issue results from missing server-side ownership or authorization enforcement on a sensitive state-changing operation.
