CVE-2026-67298 is a heap buffer overflow in FreeRDP versions 3.28.0 and earlier, affecting the server-side RAIL channel handler. In rail_server_handle_messages(), a peer-controlled RAIL PDU orderLength field is reduced by RAIL_PDU_HEADER_LENGTH without first validating that the supplied length is at least the header size. Values from 0 through 3 cause unsigned integer underflow, producing a very large length. Pointer arithmetic wraparound allows this value to bypass the Stream_EnsureRemainingCapacity() check before it is supplied to WTSVirtualChannelRead(), resulting in an out-of-bounds heap write.
