CVE-2026-67304 is a null pointer dereference in FreeRDP versions before 3.29.0. The flaw is in smartcard device-control request cleanup: if reader-state decoding fails for a malformed smartcard IRP request with a non-zero cReaders value and truncated reader-state data, cleanup can invoke the free_reader_states functionality using a null pointer. This terminates the affected FreeRDP process.
