CVE-2026-67598 is an improper certificate validation vulnerability in Emlog Pro through 2.6.23 affecting the AI service implementation in include/service/ai.php. The application unconditionally disables TLS certificate verification for outbound HTTPS requests by setting CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER and CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST to disabled values in the sendStream(), sendImageRequest(), send(), and fetchSearchHtml() functions, with no option to re-enable verification. As a result, connections to configured LLM providers do not properly authenticate the remote endpoint, allowing a network-adjacent adversary to present an arbitrary certificate and successfully impersonate the intended service. This enables interception of AI-related traffic, exposure of Authorization Bearer credentials transmitted with requests, and injection of attacker-controlled AI responses into the application workflow. Because injected responses may be consumed by the tool-call execution pipeline, the flaw can influence downstream actions including database query and configuration update operations.
