CVE-2026-68582 is a broken object level authorization vulnerability in Vikunja affecting versions 0.24.0 through 2.3.0. The flaw is present in the task-collection endpoint, where the application loads a project view specified in the request path and fails to verify that the caller is authorized to access that view. In the link-share case, task scope remains tied to the shared project, but the view identifier remains attacker-controlled and is not re-authorized before use. This allows unauthorized retrieval of kanban bucket metadata associated with other tenants' views, including bucket titles and creator user information. The same authorization failure also exposes an object existence oracle through differing not-found versus non-not-found responses when probing project and view identifiers. Task contents themselves are not disclosed through this issue.
