CVE-2026-69089 is a path traversal vulnerability in Grav CMS before 2.0.11, confirmed in version 2.0.10. ImageMedium::watermark() passes an unsanitized image argument to UniformResourceLocator::findResource(). The file-scheme resolution path lexically collapses traversal segments but does not canonicalize the resolved path or enforce containment within the intended resource root. A crafted Markdown image/watermark reference can therefore resolve an image outside Grav's authorized media sandbox. Grav composites the selected source into a derivative image, caches that derivative, and makes it available through a publicly accessible image-cache location.
