CVE-2026-70368 is a stack-based out-of-bounds read in stunnel's s_vlog function when processing oversized log messages through vsnprintf. When protocol input handled by a stunnel service causes generation of a log message longer than 1024 bytes, the vulnerable logging path can read past the intended bounds of stack memory. This can result in abnormal process termination and, in certain corner cases, replacement of trailing newline characters with null bytes during log handling.
