CVE-2026-70426 is a critical deserialization filter bypass in Jenkins Remoting affecting Remoting 3384.v60d89463d9e0 and earlier, except 3355.3357.v931d3c992987, as shipped in Jenkins 2.575 and earlier and Jenkins LTS 2.568.1 and earlier. The flaw is in the Remoting deserialization implementation: the JEP-200 class filter is not applied to classes resolved through a fallback class-resolution path. As a result, classes on the Jenkins core classpath that should be subject to JEP-200 restrictions can be deserialized without the intended filtering. This breaks a core protection boundary for agent-to-controller communications and can be leveraged by a malicious agent process, code executing on an agent, or an attacker with Agent/Connect permission to reach unsafe deserialization conditions on the controller.
