CVE-2026-70628 is a signed integer overflow in FFmpeg's DVB subtitle parser affecting versions 0.5 through versions before 9.0. Crafted WTV subtitle data can cause a subtitle-buffer bounds-check expression to wrap to INT_MIN, bypassing the parser's size validation. FFmpeg subsequently copies attacker-controlled data into a heap buffer with memcpy(), causing an out-of-bounds heap write.
