CVE-2026-73034 is an unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability in eosphoros-ai DB-GPT through version 0.8.1. The Python file-upload API incorporates the user_id HTTP request header into the filesystem upload path without adequately constraining traversal components. An unauthenticated remote attacker can supply traversal sequences in that header in a crafted multipart upload request, escape the designated upload directory, and write attacker-controlled file content to arbitrary server-accessible locations.

A critical path traversal vulnerability in DB-GPT's /api/v1/python/file/upload endpoint where a crafted user_id can traverse outside the intended upload directory and write files to arbitrary filesystem paths.
A path traversal arbitrary file write vulnerability in DB-GPT's Python file upload functionality, where a crafted user-id value containing traversal sequences can cause uploaded .py files to be written outside the intended python_uploads/ directory, such as into /tmp/.
An unauthenticated path traversal and arbitrary file write vulnerability in DB-GPT v0.8.1 that can let remote attackers escape the intended upload directory and potentially achieve remote code execution by writing attacker-controlled files to sensitive locations.
