CVE-2026-73242 is an out-of-bounds memory-access vulnerability in FreeRDP versions before 3.30.0. In the Kerberos SSPI implementation, the kerberos_DecryptMessage function does not bound the peer-controlled GSS Wrap-token EC field before combining it with RRC when calculating IOV pointer offsets. A malicious RDP peer can trigger out-of-bounds reads and in-place writes while CredSSP/NLA Kerberos-protected messages are decrypted.
