CVE-2026-73636 is an authentication-bypass vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server's mod_auth_digest module affecting versions 2.4.0 through 2.4.68 on all platforms. When AuthDigestNonceLifetime is set to 0, a man-in-the-middle attacker can send crafted requests that trigger garbage collection of a client's shared-memory entry, allowing captured Digest authentication credentials to be replayed and defeating nonce-based replay protection. Apache HTTP Server 2.4.69 fixes the vulnerability.
