The issue is described as an authorization weakness caused by use of a user-controlled key or identifier, consistent with CWE-639. An authenticated attacker with low privileges can manipulate a user-controlled key to access functionality or data beyond their intended authorization boundaries, resulting in privilege abuse. The vulnerability affects PDKS versions from V16.20200313 before VMYR_3.5.2025117.
