CVE-2026-74791 is an authorization bypass and information exposure vulnerability in Scriban affecting versions before 7.0.0. The flaw is caused by Scriban failing to clear the CachedTemplates dictionary when TemplateContext.Reset() is called. As a result, cached templates can persist across reused TemplateContext instances instead of being invalidated during reset. In deployments that use request-dependent ITemplateLoader logic to enforce per-request or per-user access decisions, a previously loaded template may be served from the stale cache on a later render without invoking TemplateLoader.Load() again. This can allow template content that was authorized in an earlier context to remain accessible in a different security context, breaking expected isolation between renders.
