CVE-2026-75855 is a path traversal vulnerability in ArcadeDB server versions before 26.8.1. The flaw affects the POST /api/v1/server endpoint, specifically the create database and drop database commands, which do not properly sanitize user-supplied database names. An authenticated root user can include ../ path traversal sequences in a database name to escape the configured database directory. This allows creation of database files or directories at arbitrary filesystem locations and can also cause deletion operations to target directories outside the intended database path. The issue stems from improper validation of path components used in filesystem operations.
