CVE-2026-75914 is an improper pathname limitation vulnerability in CodeWhale image_analyze implementations prior to version 0.8.64. The tool joins workspace paths and reads the selected file without canonicalizing symlink resolution or enforcing that the resolved target remains within the workspace. A workspace symlink bearing an image-file extension can therefore reference a file outside the workspace; image_analyze reads its contents and encodes them for submission to the configured vision API.

A workspace-symlink path traversal and data-exfiltration vulnerability in CodeWhale/deepseek-tui image_analyze. It permits auto-approved reads of files outside the designated workspace when a workspace symlink points to an external file, potentially transmitting those bytes to a configured vision API endpoint.
A path traversal vulnerability in CodeWhale's image_analyze tool caused by failing to canonicalize symlinks before reading files, allowing attackers to leak external file contents to the vision endpoint without user approval.
