CVE-2026-7654 is a PHP Object Injection vulnerability in the Admin Columns plugin for WordPress affecting versions up to and including 7.0.18. The flaw is caused by unsafe deserialization in the IdsToCollection::get_ids_from_string() function, which invokes PHP unserialize() on attacker-controlled post meta data without restricting allowed classes or adequately validating the input. An authenticated attacker can place a crafted serialized object into a post custom meta field, and when the vulnerable code path processes that value during plugin rendering, deserialization occurs. Exploitation is practical because the plugin bundles a usable POP gadget chain through Laravel serializable-closure components, enabling arbitrary code execution in the context of the web server process.
