CVE-2026-78383 is an allocation-of-resources-without-limits-or-throttling vulnerability in Apache Tomcat AJP request handling. An unauthenticated AJP request with an absent request body can cause an AJP processing thread to remain pinned. Repeated requests can consume available AJP processing threads and prevent normal request processing. Affected versions are Tomcat 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.25, 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.59, and 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.121. End-of-life 8.5.0 through 8.5.100 and 7.0.0 through 7.0.109 are also known to be affected.
