CVE-2026-80182 is an authorization flaw in OpenStack Keystone before 29.0.3 affecting deployments that permit delegated authentication through OAuth1 access tokens, application credentials, or trusts. Keystone did not consistently enforce delegation restrictions across these delegated token types. Consequently, a token obtained through a delegated authentication mechanism could create a new long-lived credential or authorize a new delegation that persists independently of, and beyond the lifetime of, the credential used to obtain it. For example, an OAuth1-scoped token could create application credentials or authorize OAuth1 request tokens despite equivalent operations being restricted for other delegated token types.

An authorization/delegation restriction bypass in OpenStack Keystone prior to 29.0.3. Delegated OAuth1, application-credential, and trust-scoped tokens can create persistent credentials or delegations despite intended restrictions, potentially extending access beyond the lifetime and scope of the original delegated credential.
A network-accessible vulnerability affecting Debian Linux versions 11.0 through 14.0. The supplied CVSS v3 vector rates impact to confidentiality, integrity, and availability as high, although the CVSS v4 vector specifies a prerequisite attack condition and low privileges requirement.
