Advanced Custom Fields: Extended for WordPress before version 0.9.2.7 improperly validates the role supplied through front-end user-registration forms. The plugin does not constrain the submitted role to roles exposed by the form, and its protection against privileged roles is incomplete. An unauthenticated visitor can register an account with elevated capabilities and subsequently escalate that account to the WordPress Administrator role.

1 valid exploit after Mallory filtered fakes, detection scripts, and README-only repos.
The repository contains a README and one Python 3 program, SangSenimamWartefak.py. It is a standalone, requests-based WordPress/ACF Extended scanner and exploit tool, not a Metasploit or other framework module. The program performs reconnaissance by querying the WordPress pages REST endpoint and checking the homepage, fingerprints ACF Extended markup, and extracts hidden form values such as _acf_nonce, _acf_form, _acfe_data, and _acf_post_id. Its stated exploitation path submits a discovered public user form with attacker-provided registration data and an intended editor role. Detection and exploitation are both implemented; bulk detection uses a ThreadPoolExecutor and records targets reported as vulnerable. No fixed victim hostname or IP address is embedded: all network requests are built from the user-supplied target URL. The advertised impact is conditional privilege escalation caused by an exposed ACFE front-end account form with insufficient server-side role validation.

An unauthenticated privilege-escalation vulnerability in Advanced Custom Fields: Extended for WordPress before version 0.9.2.7. Attackers can submit unauthorized roles through front-end registration forms, obtain elevated capabilities, and escalate to administrator.
