CVE-2026-82988 is an arbitrary Android application installation vulnerability in the APK delivery mechanism of ViewSonic vCast on affected ViewBoards. An unauthenticated download endpoint accepts an attacker-supplied APK URL and can be induced to download and install the referenced Android package. The mechanism does not adequately restrict or validate the application source, permitting delivery of attacker-controlled software.
