Frontend File Manager Plugin for WordPress through version 23.6 does not properly verify ownership or authorization for each targeted post before performing permanent deletion. As a result, a user can invoke the plugin's deletion functionality against posts or pages they do not own. The issue affects authenticated users with author-level access and above by allowing them to permanently delete arbitrary WordPress posts and pages. Additionally, if an administrator has enabled the plugin's "Allow guest uploads" setting, the same deletion path becomes reachable without authentication, extending the authorization flaw to unauthenticated attackers.
