CVE-2026-84393 is an improper certificate validation vulnerability in the Agentless ZTNA portal of Fortinet FortiOS 7.6.1 through 7.6.6 and FortiProxy 7.6.2 through 7.6.6. The portal does not properly validate a backend destination website certificate when its hostname does not match. An on-path attacker can present a forged or hostname-mismatched certificate and interfere with the TLS connection between the portal and the backend destination website.
