CVE-2026-84656 is a missing authorization check in Jenkins 2.579 and earlier and Jenkins LTS 2.568.2 and earlier. An HTTP endpoint fails to enforce the required Item/Read permission for the specific job whose build parameters are requested. Consequently, a user with Item/Read permission on at least one Jenkins job can retrieve build parameter names and values for other jobs to which that user has no authorized access.
