OpenPanel versions before 2.3.0 contain an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in URL-fetching functionality used to retrieve favicon and Open Graph content. Insufficient validation of an attacker-controlled URL parameter allows a remote attacker to induce the OpenPanel server to issue requests to arbitrary destinations, including internal services and cloud-instance metadata services. Limited upstream responses may be relayed to the attacker.

An unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in OpenPanel versions before 2.3.0. The /misc/favicon and /misc/og endpoints insufficiently validate a user-controlled URL, permitting requests to internal services and cloud metadata endpoints and returning small responses to the attacker.
An unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in OpenPanel before 2.3.0. Insufficient validation of the url parameter in the /misc/favicon and /misc/og endpoints lets remote attackers make the server request internal services and cloud metadata endpoints, potentially exposing credentials and enabling internal-service enumeration.
