The flaw is caused by the temporary support-access AJAX action being exposed to unauthenticated users through a nopriv registration while relying only on a nonce check for protection. The nonce used by the handler is publicly embedded in frontend JavaScript, so it does not provide meaningful access control. An unauthenticated attacker can invoke the temporary access handler with a crafted request that disables the temporary-check logic and causes the plugin to create a new WordPress user with the hardcoded administrator role via wp_insert_user(). The vulnerable workflow then returns a magic login URL which, when visited, authenticates the attacker by setting a WordPress auth cookie. Successful exploitation results in immediate administrator-level access and complete compromise of the affected WordPress site.
