CVE-2026-89086 is an improper cryptographic signature verification vulnerability in the OCaml jose package before version 0.11.0. RSA signature-validation calls treat a signature as valid when PKCS#1 decoding succeeds, without completing the required verification steps involving the RSA public key. Consequently, malformed or attacker-crafted signatures may be accepted despite not having been validly generated by the expected private key.
