Casdoor 2.362.0 and earlier contain an account-binding flaw in federated identity handling that can lead to account takeover. According to the provided content, the vulnerable getExistUserByBindingRule function matches existing users by email address but does not verify whether the upstream identity provider's email claim has been validated. The issue is compounded by the fact that the idp.UserInfo structure does not include an EmailVerified field, preventing proper enforcement of verified-email semantics during binding. As a result, an attacker can present an upstream identity containing an unverified email claim matching a victim's email address and have Casdoor bind or associate the attacker-controlled upstream identity to the victim account.
