CVE-2026-96876 is an improper neutralization of input vulnerability in the MediaWiki Cargo extension through version 3.9.4. Insufficient output encoding during web-page generation permits reflected cross-site scripting (XSS), allowing attacker-controlled script supplied in a malicious request to be reflected and executed in a visiting victim's browser within the context of the affected MediaWiki site.
