CVE-2026-97163 is a critical unauthenticated remote code installation vulnerability affecting the lomart.fr UP plugin extension for Joomla versions 5.0.0 through 5.2.0 and 6.0.0 through 6.0.29. A remote attacker can exploit the affected extension without credentials or user interaction to install attacker-controlled code on the Joomla host, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution and compromise of the site.

This six-file repository is a standalone Python 3 PoC for CVE-2026-97163 affecting lomart.fr's UP (Universal Plugin) for Joomla. The sole executable, poc.py, uses requests/urllib3 to normalize a supplied Joomla base URL, request UP manifest files, parse version metadata, and classify versions 5.0.0-5.2.0 and 6.0.0-6.0.29 as vulnerable. It can run checks against one URL or a target list concurrently, save JSONL results, and write candidate targets to a hit list. Optional install probes, enabled automatically by exploit mode, exercise known/supplied com_ajax patterns or a user-provided shortcode-rendering page to cause UP mini deployments to fetch a missing action on demand. Supported action names include slideshow-billboard, meteo-concept, scroll-indicator, gotop, lorem-flickr, and site-visit. The code globally disables TLS certificate verification for its own HTTP requests and supports a proxy, but does not implement the vulnerability's required malicious GitHub archive substitution, MITM capability, shell, command execution, or custom payload hosting. README.md documents the vulnerability, affected/fixed releases, manual usage, and search fingerprints; requirements.txt lists requests and urllib3; targets.example.txt provides a sample target. No exploit framework integration is present.
