CVE-2026-9848 is an unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability in the WP Ticket WordPress plugin through version 6.0.4. During unauthenticated front-end searches, the plugin's posts_request filter invokes emd_author_search_results(), which obtains the WordPress search parameter after WordPress has removed magic-quote escaping. The plugin concatenates this user-controlled value into a SQL LIKE expression within a UNION subquery without parameterization or SQL escaping. A crafted search request can alter the resulting database query and disclose data from the WordPress database.
