A nearly 10-gigabyte dataset purportedly leaked from Zhengzhou Zhirong Network Technology Company (ZRON) appears to expose a commercial cyber-espionage pipeline serving Chinese government customers. A Chinese dark-web participant posted samples and offered the full collection for sale in June 2026. Internal chats, marketing materials, and documents allegedly taken from foreign government agencies portray the company as providing both information-acquisition services and AI-driven processing of stolen data. The Wall Street Journal expressed tentative confidence in the documents’ authenticity, while the Natto Team is reviewing ZRON’s operations and government relationships within China’s commercial hacking ecosystem.
NetAskari’s examination of samples describes malware-enabled access across Windows, Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, and Unix, alongside credential theft, Telegram scraping, webmail access, vulnerability scanning, and hardware-assisted intrusion options. The materials also advertise the Baize AI analysis product and email relationship mapping, suggesting an integrated workflow from compromise to intelligence extraction. Leaked emails and attachment summaries involving officials and diplomatic accounts from several countries suggest possible foreign-government targeting. Registered software copyrights lend support to the existence of some tooling, but the full dataset’s authenticity and the capabilities’ operational use remain unconfirmed.
